I hand marble my Lunar Plates, I mix my own concrete and from base pigments and I mix the different colors and nuances. The patterns are created intuitively by the movements of my fingers and marble it quite rapidly before the concrete hardens. People always ask me what kind of rock or mineral it is. But it is the result of the strange magic that takes over once my hands start working . I grew up in Greenland and I miss the mountains immensely, I suppose this is why I am so obsessed with mimicking the majestic nature, with an alien multicolour touch to it. As if it was a kind of rock that doesn’t come from this planet. This idea fits the results; all the lunar plates are unique, you won’t find that exact pattern on any other plate on earth.
